When God called us to dominion.. he meant it.
So yes its 2016 and as people make resolutions for the year some others have anchor scriptures and anchor words…as the case may be.
In my course of praying; understanding that when we pray we don’t pray of ourselves or of our own will… it’s important to pray by the leading of the Spirit and not just outing words and requests together…of course the Spirit knows exactly what we need per time.
So in my course of praying the Holy Spirit made me realize there are many words and scriptures; in the moment these words and scriptures sound awesome, and we know of a truth that word is exactly God’s will for and towards us, as well as what he desires for us..(His thoughts towards us are of good and not of evil to give us an expected end, a hope and a future- Jeremiah 29:11). In that moment of prayer the words and scriptures are awesome and glorious and yes you can feel the presence, see the promises, you can touch it; in that moment faith is reality.
What happens when you open your eyes, get off your knees, pick your purse, bible and notes and walk out the church and turn on that phone , or start the car’s ignition and get on the road………………….
I told myself, I wanted something different, not the usual or the normal.. I want the extraordinary... and so the Holy Spirit helped me to long for something different. You see the Spirit of God never leaves us.. That presence is ever there (God is our ever present help in time of need- Psalm 46:1) but we let the consciousness slip and although prayer is not magic where you see the results instantly but yes it can be… it can be.. Jesus raising Lazarus…said a prayer before and Lazarus woke up, the feeding of the five thousand…ok so you get the point… I know deep within me that the life God has called us to live, is more than what our eyes can see: it’s a life of the supernatural. When Christ said that greater works than he did shall we do, and that as Christ is In heaven so are we on earth…those words were not just there to be quoted or felt in a moment.. They are real and to be our reality…
So the point.. I started praying that the word of God will find full expression in me, and invade the details of my life, and become my reality. That the word will truly become flesh, that I will live life as Christ lived; the extraordinary will be my reality..
Wow every scripture that talks about the Authority Christ has given us and who we are in Christ is not just some words put together, they are real and can be real to you..
Then I found 2nd Coritnhians 1:20…where it says the word of God is yea and Amen…
So no more obscurity and limitations… All things are possible and plausible.. I no longer have to play by the rules and system of the world..
I am a god; God made me a god.. he also said I am a King and a priest..(Psalm 82:6, Revelation 1:6)this is soo powerful..that If we understand it..if we grasp just a bit of it..we would never remain the same again..or live in obscurity..
When God called us to unto dominion.. he meant it..
Having said all these.. the Key is “Abiding” arrgh that word is awesome.. (Abide in me and I in you-
john 15:4). No word of God is isolated, everything always comes together.. its complete..Stay close to the word.. stay right in the center of it..Fellowship consistently and unendingly with the Holy Spirit.
So even though you wake up tired and can’t go through the whole routine of reading the whole chapter, take sometime during the day to say a prayer and get a scripture…these are not rules and regulations or step by step processes.. they are supposed to be our default(I really want to avoid using the word supposed)… They are to be our default.. To live the life of the supernatural as God as called us to live(as Lights) we cannot live isolated from the word of God and the Holy Spirit…Abiding.
I understand process and times and seasons..and that yet in all of the words written above God remains supreme and sovereign… and works all things together for our good.
